ELPEE · YOUR MUSIC, YOUR OWN SPACE

A little help, on hand.

Importing, playback, and keeping your library safe.

Adding music

Open Library → Add Music → Import Files to copy audio into Elpee, or choose Link a Folder to keep files in place. Newly added music appears in Songs, sorted by Recently added. Files without album tags appear in Songs rather than Albums.

A song is missing

Open the file in Files and make sure it downloads. Check your connection, then retry. If a linked folder moved or lost access, link it again. Settings → Library and sources → Rescan Library refreshes the index.

iCloud Drive

Enable iCloud Drive in iOS Settings. Your file provider handles cloud downloads. Make the file available in Files before retrying if the connection is unreliable. Importing copies the selected file; it does not sync the whole Elpee library between devices.

No audio

Check that playback is running, turn up device volume, and check the output device in Now Playing. Bluetooth and AirPlay may send sound elsewhere.

Supported files

Elpee supports DRM-free MP3, AAC/M4A, ALAC, FLAC, WAV, AIFF, Ogg Vorbis and Opus audio. Music downloaded through an Apple Music subscription is protected and cannot be played by Elpee.

Keep a copy

Keep a separate copy of original music and history exports before removing the app. Unlinking a folder leaves its original files untouched.
