elpeeAbout this policy
Elpee is developed by Dogu Yilmaz. This policy covers the Elpee iOS app and this support website. Updated November 7, 2026.
Your library and history
Elpee stores your library, playlists, favourites, listening history and Recap on your device. We do not operate a server that receives this library or history. The app has no advertising or tracking SDK and does not require an account.
Files and permissions
Files and iCloud Drive are accessed through Apple’s file picker. Imported files are copied into Elpee; linked folders remain in their original location. Your cloud provider may download selected files under its own privacy policy. Optional Music library access reads metadata and plays available, unprotected songs on this device. You can revoke permissions in iOS Settings.
Optional online lyrics
Online lyrics are off by default. When enabled, Elpee sends song title, artist, album and duration to LRCLIB to find lyrics. LRCLIB can also receive connection information such as your IP address. Audio files and listening history are not sent. Turn this off in Settings → Lyrics; downloaded lyrics may remain in the local cache. Visit LRCLIB.
Sharing and reminders
Sharing sends the card or information you select to the destination you choose. Saving to Photos requires your permission. Recap reminders are local notifications and can be disabled.
Storage and removal
Local data remains until you remove it or delete the app. Unlinking a folder does not delete its original files. Deleting Elpee removes its app data; original files in Files, iCloud Drive and Music remain. Device backups may retain app data according to your Apple settings. This version does not sync playlists or listening history between devices.
This website and support email
This website uses no analytics scripts, advertising cookies or contact forms. Cloudflare hosts it and processes connection information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and secure the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. If you email support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond and troubleshoot; send only what you are comfortable sharing. You may request deletion by email, subject to any retention required by law.
